Dear Brother Rifleman,

To generate funds for The Rifles Care for Casualties Appeal, I have just put together, in book form, ten of my contributions that have appeared in various Regimental Magazines, 1996 - 2008. The book runs to 132 pages in paperback form.

As the articles were written before the formation of The Rifles, I have edited six of them, which concern events during the Napoleonic Wars between 1793 and 1815, in order to include the forefather regiments of our new family of Riflemen.  There are also three personal accounts for a bit of lighter reading and a description of the first investiture by Queen Victoria of the new Victoria Cross.
