Work placements.The Omega project is growing fast and there is now scope for Riflemen to join the team. I am looking for up to 3 project managers to join the team as part of their resettlement and run one of the project’s departments (training, recruitment, business development). I will need you to commit to a min of 2 weeks. The placement is unpaid and based out of Omega’s head office in Gloucestershire. It will provide valuable commercial experience whilst providing an insight into the recruitment industry. It may also help you identify a suitable sector to work in or find a job. CV workshops. Workshops have started again; details below.
·11 Sep – 1 RIFLES – Chepstow
Sep – 3 RIFLES – Edinburgh
The workshop is a one day course which will give you an effective CV which can be immediately posted to online job boards. Cost remains at only £50 for the day, but will be going up in the autumn. Book now to avoid the price rise.
Interview workshops. In response to demand, the Omega project will offer an interview skills workshop in the Autumn. These will be half day, practical workshops which will ensure you have the best chance of getting the job by being well prepared for interviews. They will cost £50.
Security work - WEYMOUTH. The Omega project has been approached by a security company looking to recruit ex-mil personnel in the Weymouth area. The company are potentially looking for full time, part time and contract security staff. Pay rates are good at £9+ph.
