Petrol tanker driver

 Tamworth

A great opportunity to work for a large distribution company.

An experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E licence) with ADR Class 3 required for a large distribution company.

CPC required; training can be provided (there will be a charge for this service)

Must be hard working, reliable and flexible.

Should have an understanding of the regulations which govern commercial HGV drivers; full induction will be provided.

Working from the Kingsbury Depot, nr Tamworth you will work Mon – Fri as standard with any weekend work as OT.

Working week is up to 60 hours with 4/5 nights on the road; overnight allowance paid.

Cadet Expansion officer

Nottingham

·        A new post has been created within East Midlands Reverse Forces and Cadets Association for a full-time, fixed-term School Cadet Expansion Officer (SCEO) to drive forward cadet expansion in schools.

·        The SCEO will follow up expressions of interest from state schools to identify new opportunities for school based cadet units in order to meet the Government’s target to expand the number of cadet force units in schools.

·        He/she will ideally have at least two years’ experience of the cadet forces or a voluntary youth organisation, preferably with experience of working with the education sector.

·        The successful candidate will be personable with strong presentational skills, highly motivated, well organised and able to work on his/her own initiative with good problem solving abilities.

·        Good verbal and written communication skills will include production of a written monthly progress report and contributions to PR.

·        He/ she will be expected to liaise confidently and competently with school Principals and Governors and the relevant regional cadet force headquarters.

·        The role is either working on the shop floor where you will follow manual instructions on making components, loading and unloading machines and also quality checking.

·        Alternatively you will be part of the Assembly and test team who are responsible for building the fuel injector unit, following basic manual instructions and quality checking in a clean room environment.

·        No experience required

·        All training provided

·        Smart, reliable and willing to learn are the only pre-requisites.

·        To provide professional technical support to customers and end users of Remote Operating Vehicles worldwide

Requirements:

·        Familiarity with vehicle electrical systems and mechanical fitting.

·        Should possess sound mechanical and electrical knowledge, a relevant City & Guilds, HND/HNC or vocational qualification is desirable.

·        The ability to communicate at any level both orally and in writing.

·        The capability to work independently whilst being resourceful and self-motivated.

·         Must be security aware and confident in working in regions of unrest and conflict. A military or security background is desirable.

·        Must be able to read electronic wiring diagrams and have experience in maintaining electronic systems.

·        Possess a high degree of computer literacy.

·        Would suit a REME trained fitter/electro mechanical engineer.
