It is the intention of The Rifle Brigade Association to hold an event commemorating the Fiftieth Anniversary of the last campaign of 3 Green Jackets, The Rifle Brigade, Borneo-1965/66, in the year 2015. This also the year of the two hundred anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo in which the 95th distinguished themselves so well.

To enable the organisers to provide the type of function (a luncheon or dinner) appropriate for the occasion it is requested of all who served in the battalion in Borneo or were on the Rear Party at Felixstowe, to get in touch with Major Ron Cassidy. The information required is for planning purposes to understand numbers who might attend and where the function could be held.

When indicating your likely attendance please submit:

2. Telephone number. (Landline)
3. Accompanied by wife/partner
4. Platoon and Company in Borneo.
5. Your e-mail address.

If you know of anyone not on the internet who was in Borneo/Rear Party please forward their name and address to Major Cassidy, so that correspondence can be set up.

It is appreciated that 2015 is a long way off but events such as these take a lot of planning, not least to find all those who served then, your co-operation will be much appreciated. In due time once the numbers, date, venue and costs are known you will be advised of these. You will then be asked to make a firmer commitment of attendance.
