The weekly Omega vacancy bulletin details active roles and is distributed across the Regiment; please distribute widely across county networks.

1    Site manager    Worcester Rugby Club    •    A confident, competent leader/manager required for Worcester Rugby Club to manage team of stewards on match days.
•    All training provided    £40 – 50 (4 – 5 hours work on match days)    2 – 3     •    Would suit a SNCO Worcester supporter who wants to earn some extra money.
•    This role will start next season.
•    We can establish a team of suitable individuals to manage this contract.


2    Logistics Manager    Tewkesbury    •    A confident manager with some technical knowledge to handle the logistics of importing and exporting telecoms components.
    £25 – 40K subject to experience    1 – 2     •    Would suit an NCO with a Comd Pl/G4 background.


3    Fuels HSE Manager      Afghanistan     •    NEBOSH

4    Site manager    Westonbirt    •    Manage traffic management plan and team of road marshals & car parkers during summer festivals and autumn peak periods.

6    Housekeeper    Hampshire    •    Couple required to live in a one bedroom cottage and provide domestic service to a large house 4 mornings per week.
•    Duties will include cleaning, ironing etc
•    Job will include dog walking and providing a presence for security purposes.
•    The job does not employ the second member of the couple.

7    Security officer    Anglesay    •    A great opportunity for a JNCO or above to secure a position within the security industry.
•    Company has requested an ex-military JNCO or above.      £20K    1 - 2    •    Welsh speaker desirable, but not essential
•    Suitable for JNCO and above.

 

8    Inventory Control Analyst    Tewkesbury    •    Excellent working knowledge of Excel and Access;
•    Previous experience with Syspro would be an asset.
•    Experience in data extraction;
•    experience in an operational, supply chain management, inventory environment;
•    Previous experience working with a finance team;
•    Strong analytical skills;
•    Competence with inventory costing, cost accounting;
•    Strong demonstrated interpersonal skills to work with plant personnel, finance, product lines.

     
9    Project Manager    Afghanistan     •    Must have oil and gas experience
•    Bachelor’s degree required in architecture, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, construction science or related field with an emphasis on engineering management or equivalent.
•    Preferably Professional Accreditation with a recognized body. (ICE, CIOB, IEE, RIBA, PMI.CICES…)
•    Minimum 10 years’ experience on construction and civil works projects.
•    Needs to be comfortable working in a changing environment and solutions orientated.  The typical Middle East and African Projects are in disputed regions.     $7000/month


10    Manufacturing manager      Tewkesbury    •    To be responsible for the Production and Test of Assemblies, Products and Systems to meet defined targets against Quality, Cost and Delivery metrics.
•    To lead the Manufacturing department ensuring capability through training, establishing targets/objectives, and monitoring performance.
•    Demonstrable leadership and management skills
•    Experienced practitioner in and advocate of Lean Thinking, Six Sigma and similar change management processes
•    Degree qualified in Engineering, Manufacturing or a related subject
•    Relevant experience in a similar electro-mechanical manufacturing environment
•    Project management experience
•    Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral    £50K+    1

   
11    Manufacturing engineer      Stroud    •    You will be responsible for adopting a professional and systematic approach to process improvements (Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement etc ). Specifying, purchasing and installing cost effective high volume precision machining, assembly and hydraulic equipment and systems.
•    Qualifications / Experience Required:
o    Qualified to degree level or equivalent in an engineering discipline with an interest in manufacturing
o    Can demonstrate excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
o    Previous knowledge and experience of Automotive Industry / Fuel Injection Equipment is desirable, but not essential     £32K + bens    1   

 

12    Event stewards      Across UK     •    No previous experience required all training provided.    £60 – 70pd    50+     •    Omega have contracts to provide stewards for most of this year’s festivals and some large sporting events. 
•    This is an introduction to working in events and provides NVQ2 in stewarding.

 

13    SIA badge holders      Across UK    •    Must hold valid SIA badge
•    Some experience of working at events would be useful.      £100+ pd    20+     •    Omega are tendering to provide SIA badge holders to support a wide range of events (festivals to Premier league rugby) this year.

14    Travel manager    Dubai     •    This role is crucial to the clients business and is a senior position. 
•    The travel team sit within the Central Services Business Unit and provide travel support for the entire business. 
•    The travel manager has a team of around 17 people, and with 4 staff based in Afghanistan.
•    Ideally someone with a travel industry background and or an internal travel department (would suit Ops WO, MTWO/MT Sgt), with strong management skills and ability to manage a team.
•     It requires someone who is a good problem solver: ability to sort out problems with flights and be able to react and resolve issues as they occur. 
•    This role requires travel to Afghanistan to see how the business works and to sort out any issues with their team etc.    £23 – 27K    1    Benefits:
