RE: OMEGA PROJECT NEWSLETTER 22 - AUTUMN 13 - PT3 with Jobs Board link
The Open Days have proved very successful from both the company and service personnel’s perspective and will continue over the autumn. The Omega project works to translate and explain the skills, knowledge and expertise of service personnel so that companies understand and can access the talent leaving the Army. Our Role Ready Initiatives are unique and exclusive. Our challenge now is to get the word out to all Riflemen and service personnel leaving in the next 12 months to exploit these opportunities. Companies want what service personnel have to offer. These initiatives allow Riflemen to make informed decisions as to how they use their resettlement money, confident in the knowledge they are preparing themselves for employment, in a sector which needs the quality manpower ex-Riflemen represent.
The offshore sector development is exciting and has the potential to deliver a large number of well-paid jobs for service personnel. We’re not quite there yet, but we’ll keep you informed.
Please pass this newsletter on to other people in your network and support the project by registering, Liking it on FB, or just by passing this on to friends.
